Default The rifleman

X2...I’d like to see if they could properly cape out a deer, and turn the ears, lips, eyelids, etc.

So you watched them shoot across a road, down a road at a bear in the center of the road and you thought that was perfectly fine, realistic and made a good show did you? I can guarantee I would never hunt with someone who thinks that is okay and I never would have even when I was 20.

The only thing realistic about it was a jack***** shooting down a road, which is just plain stupid not to mention dangerous and unless it was a private unmaintained road it is also illegal.

Is it illegal? Then we will see him charged and read about it.

Now there's a show I can say I surely don't miss!
Couldn't stand that show

I'd forgotten about it. It seems to be gone. Hopefully it died a slow and painful death.
Lots of hunting shows on tv, some good, some not so good, a few that I watch fairly regularly. But that one was the absolute worst. By a long shot.

I do agree with you Dean on the salty factor of this and I would never do it but lots of private roads in Alberta.
do think that it is ethical, no but I would bet more people are doing it than I would like to think.

Now i was never a Jordan Walsh fan. I turned on the Telly to the sportsman channel and there is this show called the Rifleman. Somehow JW is on this show now. He shoots at an Elk , Not sure if he's hit it, Then its a Foot race to chase the wounded animal through the Bush....Nope can't find it. Hopefully theres More Elk around.....

Im wondering whats happened with WildTV. Some that have left it...Helgie Eimundson, Brice Folden, Jeff Condie , etc.

I understand what its like to try and capture a Hunt and its not easy without a Cameraman and theres no dress rehearsal and you do your best with the conditions you get. I have packed mine lots over the years and mostly for memory lane.
How did “Jeff Condie” get lumped in with the Wild TV crowd ?

I recall a popular Show from decades ago that was sponsored by an Ins Co.
Cant recall the name of it but they did some pretty hairy things, like roping Alligators etc. The host became a big name until he was proven phoney. It was all shot on a Game Farm, props and all

Id rather watch 10000 meat eater episodes than 1 from "the bear whisperer"
That goes for any of the shows he's involved with

I’ll second that! That dude is an unbearable goof too. I think the top three are...Jordan Walsh, The Dimebag Fisherman, and the clown from the Bear Whisperer.

He is by far the most annoying, I tried watching his show once, and I changed the channel before it was over. He is almost as bad as a Trudeau speech.

Try downloading an app on your phone called "Carbon TV".

If you sign up (free by the way) you get access to some pretty decent content.

So far I've watched a few episodes of Greg McHale's Wild Yukon and its enjoyable. Not sure all of the content will be good, but its an option folks.

Enjoy.

As far as I know Jeff has only ever hunted with Tork, or I guess Tork hunts with Jeff.

Depending on how you look at it I guess lol

I will admit that I cape my own shoulder mount worthy animals, but have no idea how to turn ears, sips, eyelids, etc. I leave that to the taxidermist.

I don't remember the last hunting show I watched. Brad Fry is/was legit when it came to making real good stuff.

I believe he was one of the featured outfitters of the Boneyard Show. Condie/Tork of course one in the same.
