Default Model 70 Aftermarket stock options

I have a new model 70 sporter in 270 win. I'm wondering from you gents what my options are for aftermarket stocks. I'm unsure as of yet if I want laminate or composite, but I'd love to know what you guys chose for yourselves. Pics would be awsome. TIA

Bell & Carlson and Boyd's at the low end. Wilcat, H-S Precision, McMillan, Manners, etc. at the higher end. Lots of choices available. I have always preferred the H-S stocks for Remington and Winchester rifles.

Wildcat Composites - MADE IN ALBERTA!

Their Model 70 stock is the exact replica of the Featherweight. I have one of their stocks on my Remington and really like it.

Have a look at Stockys Stocks in the US as well.
Great variety and ship to Canada for stocks worth up to $500 U.S.

Does that have the Schnabel forend? Hard to tell from the pic. Maybe not as pronounced?

Default Model 70

Thx for the replies so far guys. Keep it coming.

A couple guys have suggested Alberta made wildcat stocks. Do they sell stocks ready to drop in or blanks that need more work? Everybody happy with their Wildcats? Reviews?

I had a Model 7 blank fitted to my Kimber 84M Varmint.

It is a great stock. I'd rate it as good as the McMillan I had.

I've had HS Precision on a Remington 700 Varmint. Nice stock.

Bell & Carlson make some nice stocks for Winchesters. That is what is on the Extreme Weather model.

I have a Brown Precision on a Ruger 77R. Maybe the nicest stock, but very expensive now.

I currently have the Brown Precision, Wildcat and Kimber Montana synthetic stocks. I like them all, maybe a slight edge to the Brown.
