Default Duck hunting in November

So I went on a goose hunt a couple weeks ago. No decoys, just pass shooting as they came in to feed in a friends field. It was the first time I've ever gone and it was so much fun. Fast forward to today, I'm not looking for anyones spots or anything. Just some general help/ideas on duck hunting east central ab in november.

If your in Lloyd it's safe to say that unless you head south by a few hours your all out of luck for the season. Ice has formed on the water and the birds have moved on.

unless its been way warmer in lloyd than here (im 45 min south west) i think its safe to say that you may as well go after big game and get geared up to hit it hard next year.
