Dang. We live in inventive times.

Time to park the conventional car. Neat idea but could see them not being good in urban settings or rush hour. Great way for a farmer to go to check the fences, livestock and crops though. This car enable it to reach a maximum speed of just 25 mph (40 kph) on the ground but the flying range is a cool 372 miles (600 km) at around 118 mph (180 kph).

And time to park the kayak or canoe at the lake. Environmentally friendly. Looks like it could use streamlined floatation for stopping. Just needs a rod holder.

Call me a pessimist but all I see is new ways to die. As if enough people don’t get injured in car accidents, add in an ultralite to up the anti, and sures sht someone is gonna ride that bike half way across the lake an figure out when you’re too tired to peddle any longer the bike will sink to the bottom....

They look cool though.

I am a pessimist too. Especially for things we don't really need. The bike could be improved with some sleek profile pontoons to keep it afloat. Sure would hate to hit a head wind and 3 foot waves half way across a lake. And realizing it is just another vehicle that can transfer parasites and maybe viruses from lake to lake. Like whirling disease.

And regarding the coptercar... that's all we need in Alberta... Airborn thieves... stealing flying cars instead of trucks.
