Default Crossbow Recommendation

Looking at buying a quality crossbow for hunting and hoping for recommendation . I was reading about the Raven but the price tag is a little too high. A y suggestions would be appreciated.

Excalibur or what ever is carried locally with support and service. Barnett have a high failure/derail rate.

No I haven’t, I just know that here locally Jimbows carries Excaliber and I know the recurve style limbs seem to have less issues than the compound style. They have some neat new take down models too.

Excalibur. Check out some of the videos on the Hunting the Backwoods show. They torture test Excaliburs and they still shoot. No compound can take that abuse and still work. The new takedown model looks great and I think it shoots at up 420 fps. They are expensive but the most durable one you will find. Very accurate also
