My brother recently rolled his quad & broke the stock on the 22 my grampa gave him nearly 40 years ago. It has a rabbit engraved on the stock. I'd like to find him an original replacement stock for it. It was the last thing my grampa ever gave him & it holds a special spot in his heart. I'm not sure what the model number is but I can find out. I'd like to surprise him with it, I know he shed a tear or 2 when it happened. He was far more upset about the 22 than the damage to the quad. I'm not sure where to begin to look for a stock but I thought some of the members on here may know where I could look.
I believe that you have a model 64. Put out an add here and on CGN, and check various gunshows. You might have to purchase the whole gun, but they're not that expensive, maybe $50.00 will get you one. Quads have ruined many a stock.
How is the stock broken? Cracked, broken at the wrist?
It can likely be repaired with no worries regarding strength. The sentimental value is in the original wood and steel, something a new stock can't fix.
The stock is a write off, it was broken in 2 pieces. One of the members here may have one for me. It sounds like it's the right stock, my brothers isn't the single shot it has the tube feed.
