Default Dehydrators for Jerky

Are any better than others?

What would you recommend?

I would maybe order from Cabelas but open to suggestions from Walmart and other stores.

Was planning to make it with ground venison.

Feel free to PM or post any of your favorite recipes.

Thanks

I use an Excalibur, 9 trays, 15 lbs at a time. No moving of trays required as it has a built in fan. Been using it about 5 years now, no problems.

I use a Nesco FD -27 / American Harvest with an extra tray kit. I think I bought it at London Drugs.

I have used it with ground and sliced meat.

If you are using ground, buy a Jerky Gun to go with it.

The Nesco came with a bunch of spice kit samples with it.

Makes nice jerky.
