Default Bill C-45 Cannabis act

Is in the house and being debated and voted on... And it's not complete legalization. There will be fines, you can still be arrested.

It's a long boring read, contradictory in parts, but some surprises.

Section (8)(1)(c) has allowance for youth between 12 and 17 (equivalence) of 5 grams of dried cannabis.

Quote:
8 (1) Unless authorized under this Act, it is prohibited:
(c) for a young person to possess cannabis of one or more classes of cannabis the total amount of which, as determined in accordance with Schedule 3, is equivalent to more than 5 grams of dried cannabis;
Doesn't seem to be any provisions for edibles, purchasing will remain illegal for now without license. Don Davies brings up some good points tho.

like it or not, it's coming.
