Default Eagles Concert Edmonton Ticket Price Insanity

Eagles ticket starting at $175.00 ??? - are these guys on drugs (or were they )
Looks like most people aren't buying into this BS. Looking at what's available for tickets at Rogers today I would guess there is at least 80% still available. They've been on sale since last week.

Good luck with those prices...great way to lose fans forever

The band members are all over 70 years old. Seems like their promotor failed to realize that most Eagles' fans are limited income seniors living off their CPP

They're not cool enough for Carol Pope.

Charging that amount is insane considering Glenn Fry is dead. Like whos going to sing my fav Taking it Easy? It would be like going to see the Simon & Garfunkel without Garfunkel.

Pretty much going rate for most acts these days, and for not so good seats .

Saw Carol Pope a couple of times. Thought she was awesome. Different but awesome still. High School Confidential and What is the Furor About the Fuhrer. Haha. The things a guy remembers.

Don Henley must be the only original member, aren't all the others dead?

The same seats that I sat in for an Eagles concert in the early 2000's for $300 for two tickets are now $1500 for two tickets. Craziness! I'll wait for Garth Brooks to come back, at least he doesn't hold people ransom!

I seen the Eagles in 1978 here in Edmonton and it cost me $8.50 per ticket. They played when everyone of the members were alive and well along with Joe Walsh the Rocky Mountain Way guy.

I won't pay 175 beans to see anyone today. Sounds like a get rich quick scheem.

Most tickets go directly to resellers (scalpers) the minute they go on sale and they are the one's that are doing the gouging, not usually the band. They use computer bots that allow them to buy all the primo seats they want and jump the cue. They NEED to go back to telephone sales and in person sales only.

Find out who the official ticket seller is for a specific show and buy directly from them. (It's Ticketmaster for The Eagles) and dont but off any "resellers"

Scalping is obviously illegal yet this has been a real problem for a good decade now and nobody seems to want to do anything about it

Ticketmaster owns a few of the resellers so the tix go from Ticketmaster where they can only charge what the band says to one of their own reselling companies that sell them for substantially more than Ticketmaster (scalps them) and this is ok to law enforcement and both provincial and federal gov.

Went to see black sabbath on their last pass thru and it was amazing. To see Tony and geezer out there doing their thing was something I won't ever regret or forget as a wannabee guitar player. But that was the original crew minus the drummer that was replaced by a young energetic wild man. Love the eagles music but I wont be paying the big bucks to fund the retirement of a band that fell apart and are just milking the name for a few more dollars. Just my opinion.

We saw Gordon Lightfoot in a concert at the Palms in Yuma Az a couple years ago, paid $40 US and left at the intermission, the guy was terrible, I swear he fell asleep a couple times, got the words to songs mixed up, what a shame that they don't know when to quit, it reminded me of watching Joe Biden give a speech

Having said that we also saw Paul Revere and the raiders at midnight at the oasis that same year and they were absolutely great, outdoor concert on the grass bring a lawn chair, $12 general admission

For the Eagles, I see the massive amount of tickets still available are through Ticketmaster. I hope any of the resellers stupid enough to have purchased tickets for this one get very burned this time around.

Buy 5 pounds of powder or go see some Septuagenarians who don't sound good even in the shower and who weren't that great even when they were young. Not really a hard choice.

Never understood the big concerts thing. Packed in like sardines, no parking for a mile to the stadium, and when the band starts to play the drunken guy behind you is yelling the song( not singing) into your ear. All for $300.00 bucks a ticket.

I’ll pour a whiskey, sit by my fire pit and listen to coyotes sing thanks.

I am still shocked they keep going without Frey. I like the Eagles, but not a superfan..but there is no way I want to see them without BOTH main vocalists.

July 78 sounds about right for when I saw them in Cgy, seems to me we had Supertramp and Chicago and Fleetwood Mac back in that time period as well. I don't remember which one it was, but one of them was 20.00 and we thought that was a high price at the time. Be good to see Vince Gill, once, but, never really thought Joe Walsh was anything special, he was pretty much a one hit wonder, didn't add anything to the Eagles anyway. At 175.00, I can pass on it. A lot of the various old band's singers have lost their voices, not so hot anymore.
