Gouging is the extra dollar not .40c but it all helps on the way down. I remember a wise man on here saying a long time ago we would welcome $1.20 fuel with big smiles and happy wallets about 5 years ago. Maybe more.

Rack price drops… gasoline drops.

Chicago is first to change.

PetroCanada would be next

UFA changes daily. It is strictly calculated off the fuel rack rate that day. You have to be on top of it. When prices start to fall they are first to react. When prices start on their way up they are first to react as well. Right now UFA is a deal. In another week it might not be.
Every morning I get an email from them with todays pricing at every cardlock. Diesel was 4.4 cents cheaper today than yesterday.
And as with all cardlocks GST is on top of listed price so you have to do your calculations.
For those of us that haul trailers and travel around the prairies having that UFA CL card is pretty handy in the smaller towns that have CL's. That's where you can see a real savings over the pump price.
One thing UFA is great for with Diesels is DEF is definitely cheaper than buying jugs at CT or elsewhere.
Also with the AB Gov eliminating fuel tax marked gas and diesel are the same price as unmarked right now

Ufa Lloydminster gives me the empty def jugs that people leave laying everywhere. I fill them for just over a dollar/L which is still ridiculous, but half the price of anywhere else. I'm getting a nice little stockpile, grab and fill a couple everytime I get fuel

Just filled in Hinton. 1.453 plus gst. Full 40 cent cheaper than the other stations. Quite the line up at the pumps. Saved 30 bucks on the fill, was worth the 10 minute wait.

I fueled up my truck today but not my box tank, will see tomorrow what the rack price is as I can take another 320 liters, hopefully tomorrow it's down another 5 or 7 cents

DEF in bulk this morning was 1.164 so $11.00 to fill a 9.49 liter jug that costs $24 most places, I think I'll fill a couple 25 liter cans of DEF tomorrow also.

Yes. You can get a fuel link card. They were free, I think they are $5 now. All it does is open the pumps. Swipe the UFA card and then insert your debit card or visa. We originally got it cause most UFA’s I can get my motorhome in and out with no issues. We now use it exclusively in the truck (cause I can’t afford to drive the moho LoL!).

There is also Petro-pass and Coop cardlocks as well. The cards will work any and cardlock around the province and beyond. I actually prefer Coop fuel to the others (better mileage), but petro-pass can be cheaper.
Still a little bitter towards UFA anyways with what they did to wholesale sports, try not to grace their stores.

Cool, I may have to look into getting a card. Sounds like a good way to save a bit on fuel.
