Default French bay feeding frenzy and gong show!!!!

Well we got caught in 30 click winds so never left French bay on cold lake, we did however proceed to hammer the lakers but that came with a price of the little tinner literary getting blown all over the place.
Wife’s line wrapped around the prop, engine out of the water and me hanging over the engine in three foot waves! Now I am ready for the stampede saddle bronc next year!
We had a blast, had a few waves break over the front and one over the back. We said one more fish and then we will call it but the dam fish kept biting and we were catching.
Talked to a fella at the dock and they caught 57 jigging white tubes and burnt through two deep cycle batteries to stay on them but their boat was a fully rigged 20 foot prince craft, he even said it was a bit ruff out there as he eye balled our little tinner!!!

Soggy sammich counted for two lakers before getting eaten!

The bite was on after the bad weather rolled through yesterday.

Good to see they are still biting, seems like it's been really good again this year for the most part. We planned to do more fishing in sask while we were on our camping trip but it was just so good on Cold Lake we kept heading there as weather allowed.

I wondered if that was you at the launch! I was out in the boat while my buddy was getting the truck. By the time I had our stuff packed up you guys were gone.

It was a decent day for us today. A couple overs. The 24V Ulterra got a workout holding us in place in the rough stuff for most of the day.

It was nice a calm in the morning!

One of my better ones.

Yes!
And bigger too.
This year for whatever reason she drops off deeper than previous years, maybe all the jacked up trucks did us a favour

I’d say that it depends a bit on your trailer height and the hull shape. I launch my 20’ Princecraft there and Willowtrail often launches his 19’ there as well.
