Default Furnace in my motorhome needs help!

It works when it wants, not always when we need it. Almost sounds like the ignitor only works intermittently.
I need to find someone who works on rv furnaces between Strathmore and Brooks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I forget what it's called, but is the ignitor removable? On mine I take out the little rod, wipe it with a scotch pad and it's good until it needs it again in 6 years.

I had one that would work off and on. Fan would purge, could here the igniter working but not fire up. Turned out that the pressure regulator was set to low. Stove worked fine but not the furnace.

Try this first!!! An old toothbrush or sandpaper to get the black crud off.
I have had to do this on all mt trailers, both fireplaces, and furnace.

I think you may be thinking of a flame sensor not the igniter. If it’s the flame sensor, do NOT use sandpaper or emery cloth. Just a little light brushing with something non abrasive so you don’t damage it.

Vinny is correct. I have to say, this is one area that if you don't know exactly what you are doing, you are far better off finding a qualified professional. I can't help the op due to location but I would say that any good heating and AC guy should easily be able to deal with the propane furnace in your trailer. I would talk to whoever you use for your house furnace as a place to start. Even if he doesn't do them, he will likely know who you should talk to that does.
