Default Barnes Bullets

Looks like Cabelas has Barnes bullets back in stock. On line anyway , don't know about in-store.

I have noticed a lot more Barnes bullets available than others lately. Just picked up 100 ttsx for my .308 today and the shop was still sitting on a dozen or so boxes.

OK, my order has shipped so it's ok to spread the word. Prices are higher again, but they had my 7mm and 338 in stock!

I was at cabelas a few weeks ago and got down on my knee's and looked to the back of bottom shelf that is level with ground....dark looking back in there ,I saw something and reached in, Lone behold two boxes of Barnes 145 gr LRX. Dug some more and a total of six boxes stashed back there.

The Canadian Tire in South Common, Edmonton has a small collection of Barnes and Nosler bullets in their reloading section, plus Hornady as well. Looks like they managed to dig some inventory out from somewhere. Prices are actually reasonable compared to the 2021 prices at other stores. Sales guy told me they got notice their cost on 2021 stuff is going up.

I bought 2 boxes of TSX 7mm 120gr yesterday. Would have gone for Accubonds but they didn't have it in the 7mm 140 grain.

They even had some 30 cal Accubonds but not in 165 grain that I wanted. They had 150 gr and 180 gr & higher.

Couldn't find more accubonds so I decided since I can find Barnes to just do it. Bought 2 boxes of Barnes TTSX 165 gr .308 cost was 74$. Not good, not bad all things considered!

Better pricing then most if not all of Canada. I assume that’s 100 bullets at 74usd?

Default 50?

I believe Barnes comes 50 to a box, at least all of the 30 cal 165s I have are 50.

74 USD is like 90 CAD, I recall paying like a buck a slug years ago but everything has gone nuts lately. Biggest concern is getting them at all, price is an afterthought.

Worth every penny IMHO...several moose agree.

I'd call that a win, considering supplies and current pricing here.

Just wish I would have bought 2 more boxes. But I guess I'm glad places are limiting what each customer can buy per day otherwise someone with deeper pockets then I would take it all and flip it.
