Talking Time to lighten things up again. 'I just can not wait for/until.....

In no particular order;

I get to see my kids and grandkids again,

The furnace to stop running in the garage,

The end of May so I can go fishing, then again in July, then August,

The announcement that goes something like 'has gone missing unexpectedly during his last trip to attempt to buy into the UN council',

Sunshine that heats the ground, warm rain and daylight after 10pm,

The announcement thst goes something like 'and just like that Covid19 and all it's variants are no longer a threat in any way',

That little bit of time between when I have to pay for the furnace and the air conditioner,

Lumber and vehicle prices come back down from orbit,

We hear 'The pipelines are a go!

Be able to sit down with friends and neighbors again, without having to worry that we are breaking any health safety rules.

Theatres to open.

So I can get a big tub of popcorn, cut a hole in the bottom, and set on my lap while the wifey enjoys the movie.
And popcorn....
She loves popcorn....

Me too...

I am going to keep with low standards

Bring on open water fishing season

Then let the planing/set up followed by hunting the whitetail rut

Outside of that I am going to take things one step at a time

Isn't that just the best???

I think, Mr Piker that you are the guy that told me 8 years ago, there is nothing like hearing in the morning 'dood moning gumpa'

And if it was you, you were bang on.

No it wasn't me, my fellow just turned four. We missed the best year, three to four. Well we never missed it, lots of walks and stuff, but it's not the same as camping in the back yard or baking cookies together or..... well you get it.

Hey. Me too. I’m in exactly the same boat. Same place. Except I’m on the west side of the lake. 18 months. Trailer, all our kayaks, all of our camping gear, clothes. Wonder if a tree is laying on my trailer or if the squatters have moved in. Wonder when we’ll be allowed to cross. I’m thinking it’s not gonna be in 2020. 😡 Anyways, that’s what I can’t wait for!

Til my favourite river opens in June! Standing there with my fly rod in hand and fighting those tremendous cutties on a sunny day is the best!

Sit around a nice campfire with a cold beer!

A trip to Mexico in the winter would be a real treat.

A warm sunny day to go far a ride on the bike. (that is starting to happen)

A warm sunny day with a fly rod in hand and cool water up to my knees. (this one is on the way).
