Default Carseland

Thinking of heading down to the Bow at Carseland today for a few hours of pike fishing.
Has anyone been down that way and can confirm/deny that there’s open, fishable water at this time? I’ve never been there yet?
I’d hate to drive 2 hours for nothing.
Anyone have any lure suggestions?
I usually use spinnerbaits or rapalas, should that be good?
Any help appreciated

River is mostly open. You have a boat or fish from shore ? Boat launch on Johnson's Island your best access. River is low. Fish the eddys for pike. Good luck!

Thanks, yeah I made it down and didn’t get any. Water did seem lower than I thought it would be. I’m from shore. Thanks for the replies
