Default Do the proper thing

NDP supporters should just turn in all their firearms. Give them up for the party you support.

That's cruel and unusual punishment. (just kidding)

How about this. It's much more inclusive.

NDP, Green and Liberal ridings all get the Astra Zeneca vaccine. Everyone else gets Moderna and Pfizer.

Default The Devil is in the details!

This is a very murky area for the province to make laws. I don't think this bill changed very much.
If the Province wanted to it could bring forth its own bill on hand guns.

It's not murky at all. In fact, why does the Fed govt think it can exert itself on municipalities. That is why we have Provincial governments. The Fed govt finds itself wading in waters it has no business getting into.

I find Canadians are seriously lacking in what the responsibilities of our various levels of government are.

The Provincial govt could make use of handguns less restrictive as long as it does not conflict with the Fed Firearms Act

It's a test of the waters to see how far the current and future Federal Governments can exert more control of the Provinces then was originally adopted in 1867.

It's also possible to change the constitution through amendments, though complicated to do so, it is doable. The current Liberal government would like nothing more than to transfer more power from a provinces to a federal jurisdiction.
