4350 will definitely work but there are better ones for a case that size. I run IMR 4350 in my 300 Win. Better powders will include H4831, IMR 7828, and RL22 to name a few.

Quick search shows these:

Try powders like H1000,Retumbo,RL25 and 26. Those would be my choices I also loaded N570 and the Berger 210 VLD hunting with great success. The slower powders give you better velocity and fill the case nicely. With the Barnes 180TTSX I have a good load with RL19. It gives me 3240 out of a 24 inch Sako rifle.

The Bee is best with the slow burners when you use 180s and larger

Id try H1000 first then Retumbo. Ramshot Magnum was really good and it meters very well.

IMR7828, RL25/26 and VV165 amd 550 worked well too.

IMO the 300 Weatherby is at its best tossing 200gr bullets.

7828 gives me an accurate 3225 fps with 180 Grain Nosler partition. Max book load 84.5 Grains.

I’ve got a 257 Wby, I’ve had great success with RL26. I realize it’s a completely different round, but with large mag rounds and a long barrel, you want slow burn rate powders. Fills the case up, 3500fps with a 117gr. Or H1000, which is side by side for burn rate with the rl26

The guys have given you good advice on the right powders, limiting factor is availability. Find a powder you can buy at least 5 pounds of as you only get about 80 rounds per pound. Very annoying to work up a load and then not be able to get more of the same powder. A good gun store will elt you buy one pound and put the other 4 on hold for a week but if not powder is really easy to resell.

RL 26 should work well. Good advice from Dean- I can't find RL 26 anywhere right now and just loaded the last bit last night, after working up an amazingly accurate load. Frustrating...
