Default Need help finding a new bow.

Hi all,

I’ve been considering getting a new bow for quite some time. I’m currently shooting a 70lb Bowtech Independence with a 32.5” draw length. It’s an older and bigger bow.

I’d like to find something that’s a little smaller. My old bow is nearly 48” from axel to axel.

My issue is finding something with a long enough draw.

I do like the Bowtech but I’m not adverse to looking at other brands.

Long arms come in handy for a lot of things but not so much for bow hunting!!!

Just looking for anyone with experience using a bow with longer than normal draw length. They aren’t too easy to find and just looking for reviews. Thanks.

APA's mamba 38tf RDS goes up to 32". If you send APA a message, I'm sure they could work something out for you.

Bowtech BT-Mag X will go to 34" draw lengths, great bows.

The Hoyt “Double XL” goes out to 33”, and the “Carbon RX-1 Ultra” goes out to 32”. I have noticed you long arm guys really are limited in bow choice. However, it seems as though the big names in archery are starting to notice as well. Seems like they are all working on better long draw options lately. Good luck in your search.
