Default Pheasant Hunting Game Farm Suggestions

Hey guys,

Typically spend the offseason going out to Wessex Game birds to keep the dogs in shape and for some recreation, but I am hearing they are pretty much sold out of birds.

Anyone have any other suggestions for similar type of hunting arrangements? Willing to travel ~ 2 hours from Calgary.

Cheers.

Have you checked out the ACA website for pheasant release sites?

Appreciate the reply, but I was thinking more along the lines of game farm type of hunting such as Wessex.

Default pheasant shooting grounds

White wolf birds out of Langdon is your closest bet.
There is also Mosquito Creek Gamebirds out of Nanton and Coulee Game Birds down in Patricia (take in the time to visit Joe at the famous Patricia Hotel after the shoot!)

White Wolf only has Chukars now, but as oldgutpile stated, Coulee has very good birds as well as you can stay at the Famous Patricia Hotel!

Does Coulee have a club or any info like that? Would be interested in getting on a mailing list for events as I live near enough to swing by.

Default coulee game birds

Sorry gents. Just talked to the Fukuda crew that runs the show, and it turns out all of his remaining birds have been pre-sold for this year.
Turns out they were somewhat conservative on how many birds they ordered in this year because of the china virus, and the shut-down of many of the regular shoots.
