It is called South Africa. Texas is a close second. Actually both are pretty cheap to hunt. South Africa is a great deal there if you go the cull hunt route.

My own private hunting preserve with a 1000m rifle range.... of course it would have to have a world class trout stream winding through it

I'd like a range finding scope.

And if you guys get your 1000s of acres, I want permission to hunt there!!

Edmonton to Joberg ret starts at $1,150. If you really want to go comfortably you can fly business class for $4,700. I consider the economy fare to be pretty reasonable. Food, accommodation, booze and guide is $400 a day per hunter and $200 per observer when you get there. Not many places you can go hunting for those prices.

Some of these indulgences are pretty grand!

For me... I've always been a best bang for my buck type of guy, stopping short of the point of diminishing returns. I have found satisfaction with leupold scopes for example.

Right now I'm dreaming towards a perfect hunting rifle but factory offerings keep so I'm struggling to justify the cost!improving

Maybe a guided hunt or fishing trip, or a full enclosed sxs!

Time to use what I have would be my pick......
