I dont know whats going on Around DV this year. What I do know is that everyone needs to shoot 2 does, and as many wolves/cougars as possible. Last year was the best year I've ever seen. This year is by far the worst for bucks 4 years and older

Boyfriend got a little spiker buck in 339 today. Thought he was a doe, his little pokers were so skinny he didn't see them, but they were long enough that he had to use his buck tag. We've been seeing lots lately as we've been working out there for the last couple months, and are new to hunting the area.

i have spent the last couple weekends up north of rocky to drayton, this is has been a tough year up there for us, i have yet to see a buck i would shoot at as not one would make the 150's, after seeing the posts here and talking to some friends i'm thinking about going a little more south myself, good luck to you all and happy hunting!

I was hunting east of cynthia Saturday found the same lots of young bucks.(130) at best. Ran into a pack of 7 wolves. Got turned down on permission due to his cows where in a adjacent quarter. Been working out there all summer. Have seen two over 150

Saw three decent bucks pestering a mature doe yesterday somewhere west of Cynthia. This cold weather is getting them moving a bit more. Need more snow. - Squeek
