Default Is there still a market for old leg holds, stretchers

Back when pelts fetched $150. I was a dedicated hunter and trapper on local farms. Probably all #3 or 4 with a few #2. Various home made wood coyote stretchers as well as the metal ones for coyotes and probably fox. Large poplar fleshing beam on tubular metal floor frame. No longer operate the bird farm which attracted them regularly but for $30 i cant see myself skinning or stretching any in the future if they are shot in the back 40

With coyote prices in the toilet can’t see many paying $30 to flesh and stretch a $20 coyote.

So they are even lower than the $30 i saw last. No problem not taking up much room in the barn. I quit when they went under $100.

I paid 20$ for skinning and averaged 34$ so far at 3 sales . Still have a few more at auction.Hoping my 20$ bounty contnues as I love the calling game.As a sidenote Im seeing too many calfless antelope does as well as getting very limited pictures of deer with fawns along the Red Deer River valley.Hoping your supplies sell as coyote numbers need to be controlled. Hoping not to derail.

Growing up we always used the old leg hold Oneida Victor #1 trap for gophers (Richardson Ground Squirrel).

Another trap we used was refereed to as a "jumper trap"?

Are these traps still used today or is there a better system?

I wouldn't mind finding and setting a few Victor #1's as I regularly get these pesky buggers in my garden.
