cold!! sheesh isn't it spring in norther alberta yet?? haha
actually we had an amazing time, great place. wasn't fully set up yet but enough positions to show me i can't shoot sporting clays all that well haha. i honestly thought it would be easier than it was....boy was i wrong. it was a great time.....as opposed to the afga dinner...but that is another story!!
i do have a bit of a sore shoulder...200 rounds in under 2 hours of 12ga ammo will do that i guess haha.
thanks for the recommendation.
has anyone shot at the brooks sporting clays course?
Tell your wife it is Peppercorn Sauce and if you ever want to be humbled with your wing shooting skills, go to Beaverhill...but always a great day...and good practice

I have shot at Brooks a number of times. I really like it. they have lots of stations and are making changes to presentations all the time. They also think outside the box with their set ups. One station has you sitting in a boat that moves to mimic rolling waves. Quite fun.
The only draw back is that it is a pretty wide open course and if the wind is blowing it can make things pretty interesting.

Would highly recommend giving it a try.
thanks snort, i am pretty sure we will head out there soon....and ya checking the wind forecast beforehand will be a must!! haha
I went with Clash and it was a blast. I did not shoot well either but got better as the day went on. I do have to mention that the staff was great, very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Beaverhill to anyone. If it wasn't so far from Lethbridge I would go again soon.
