Default Winchester 50 cal Express and Win 351

Viewed a friends gun over the weekend. Very large long barrel lever action in 50 cal express. Don't know the model of the gun. Is this enough info for anyone to provide more detail on the history of the cartridge and or gun?

And another unusual cartridge, a Win 351. Gun was a saddle type rifle in autoloader. I have never heard of this caliber. Anyone with some history?

Thanks.

Default .351sl

Clyde of Bonnie + Clyde infamy got ventilated with at least one when his car ran into a law enforcement ambush.Guards were issued 20 rd mags for prison work...........if we could only bring back the old days for dealing with criminals.Shot out .351's can be made into functional .30 M1 carbines . Brass can be made from .357 Maximum and some lathe work.
