Whitetail cape

Hey guys, I posted this on Buy and Sell as well.

I shot a huge-bodied W/T this year and kept the cape. Decided not to use it so its up for grabs.

Anybody know what the rules are as regards selling this?

Not a hundred percent sure but I believe it has to be taned before you can sell it

With your WIN and tag # you can just sell a deer cape. Antlers are a different story here in Alberta.

Pretty sure you can sell it to a taxidermist as well as they need them quite often for damaged or spoiled capes. A friend said you can also use it as credit for a future mount at the taxidermist as well.

Which month did you shoot it? I need a short haired/early season cape.

Sorry, but this one is mid-November. He's exceptionally large, got about 100 lb of meat off him.
