Default Buying a bow without trying it out

So one of my springtime plans was to head out to a bow shop and handle a few bows and maybe even try them out and decide what bow I should get for summer practice and the upcoming season.
Now it's not looking like that's going to happen with all the quarantine crap going on so I'm toying with the idea of doing some research and buying a bow online.
Setup is not an issue as I have a good friend just down the road who has all the equipment and knowledge to do so.
Is this a good idea to buy a bow sight unseen or should I wait until things cool down and I can handle a few bows and find the one that fits me.

I have bought quite a few without shooting them first but they have all been üsed" That way if I don't like it I can sell it for what I paid for it since it has already taken it's huge depreciation from the new price. Even made a little bit of money a couple times.

Bows are pretty personal, unless you have tried it I personally wouldn’t buy it. Also if it’s a brand you are familiar with it makes that thought a bit easier to buy before you try. If it’s completely new I wouldn’t.

I bought my first bow without testing or handling it in January. Lots of reviews online to give an idea, spent hours researching before buying one. Also I was very picky, bought a barely used one.

Also I never shot a bow before so was a bit of a gamble for sure. Brought it to a bow shop to get a run through and setup properly for me before shooting. Worked out good for me and I would do it again but as I get familiar with a bow I will likely get pickier on what I want, but in this case I didn't know any difference and have no regrets.

Not worth it. June/early July hopefully things are better and still gives you plenty of time to tune and practice if you’re dedicated.

I'm in the same boat. Given that I'm planning on spending a fair bit more on my next bow than I did for my current one, I am going to try a few out first.

Not sure if I could buy one without trying it first. When I bought my last bow I went into the store pretty much sold on the APA as a couple buddies had convinced me they were the best out there at the time. I went in and shot four different bow brands and honestly I liked the APA the least and ended up with a Hoyt. Nothing against APA at all just didn't feel right to me personally.
