Warning about POLITICS
Guys, 99% of you know that threads that deal with political issues are a no-go. They just cause fights like hell, and the majority of our moderating time is spent dealing with complaints that arise from them. When starting a thread, you are all smart enough to know if it is going to turn into a lynch mob where everyone chimes in about certain politicians or political parties. We all live in Western Canada. We all know how the vast majority of us feel about the guy who sits in the PMO. Many of us feel the need to vent, but Alberta Outdoorsmen is not the forum to do it in. That is what Facebook and Twitter are for. The reasons for this decision have been articulated for years, can be read in the stickie at the top of this page, but yet regular forum users continue to start these threads.
With an election campaign underway, members who knowingly choose to break forum rules by starting political threads will be dealt with accordingly. Ignorance of rules is not an excuse, and it is your responsibility to know the rules. If you chime in, you may find yourself joining the person who started the thread.
