Smile Chain Lakes Reservoir Fishing

Hello all, I'm wondering what it's like out at Chain lakes. I just want to get some info before making my dad drive the 120km... The plan is to use powerbait, as that is what worked for me at Mcleans. I've never been to Chain Lakes before, so any tips would be very helpful.
Thanks

Been down there 4 times so far and always a guaranteed catch. Use spinners though especially ones with pink on them. We pulled 23 in 3 hours a couple weeks ago. Powerbait never works for us there or corn but I know others say it works for them

I've been there plenty and usually using just some simple worms always seems to work for me. It's a really nice place and it's well worth a couple hours of your day!

Ok, it looks like next Sunday is the day. I will be bringing powerbait, some spinners and small spoons. For the lures, what is a good size?
