Default Some disturbing news about anti's

I got the link to this off predatormasters forum, and even though AO isn't listed as one of the organizations to "infiltrate", we should all read this and be aware that some groups of anti's will try anything....

The anti's are just about everywhere, as long as the mods and Rob are vigilante , and we as members report suspect posts or pm's there shouldn't be any big issues. Just like anything else over the interweb, be cautious and be aware !

Looking further into 300's post it does become disturbing as to what is really going on and being referred to..
NIO referred to in the Michigan Sportsman forum is 'Negotiation Is Over'
http://negotiationisover.com
The weak Links campaign is a full list of all the US trappers associations with full list of directors, address, phone numbers plus picutres of individuals.

Anti hunters are a stupid lot. They dont realize that in Canada they can be charged with mischief by invading a website, which is private property, and causing others to lose the lawful enjoyment of same

All you need is the owner to lay a complaint and the Tech Crimes Unit does a ISP request and the mischief maker is charged

Or we can just ban the idiots like we have always done

You bet, I looked into it too and couldn't believe how disturbing some of the info is...the NIO is suspected for being resposible for numerous trapline sabatoges, as well as burning down several trappers cabins...Troublesome to know that there are people like this out there.

It's called domestic terrorism.

"This is very serious. We need some focused activists to join some enemy sites and go undercover as sadistic trappers and bloodthirsty hunters. You need to take on their mentality and be convincing."

So, what do they intend to do? If anyone disrupts the board with anti-hunting propaganda they won't last long before they're banned. I haven't seen any "sadistic trappers or bloodthirsty hunters" on here so they'd be pretty easy to spot.

If they take on our mentality and are convincing maybe a few will be converted.

But we do have a guy on here that says he runs hounds.........but doesn't think a guy hunting anything other than cats should be allowed to have dog in camp.

Ive always thought overly critical posts a little suspect.

Like people trying to tell you not to shoot coyotes cause it cant lower populations. Im no genius but im pretty sure if i shoot one the population just went down one coyote

But seriously....

there are a few members who only seem to post when they want to disagree with something another member posted. Makes you think.....hmmmm

Gotta love the ignore function!

These people are worse than cockroaches...what a waste, to dedicate such time and effort to sabotage law abiding citizens livelyhood and hobbys.

Must make momma real proud *slow clap*

In my opinion, its not so much about about the "infiltrating" of the forums to try and covert us to non-hunters per say, as most will likely be spotted. My concern would this: One of them IS actually convincing enough to be overlooked, they start asking for help (as many on this site do) with one thing or another, say trapping, mr. helpful decides to invite them out to spend a day with them and teach them the ropes (similar to new 'yote hunters that some of us have offered to take out). Bang, the luntatic now knows the location of your line, cabin likely, etc., and with a reputation like the one NIO has, your property is now at risk. Sad but true in todays age i guess.

Well, the OP was removed and the rest of the posts didn't describe what they were commenting on.

I'll take that as an I don't know.

Does a guy have to add funny faces to everything he say's so people know he's joking or something. I thought grizz's post was rather funny after reading what "was left of the post". Im not one of those add a smile face kind of guys.

No not at all, I don't come on forums looking for issues, I am more of the kind of guy that enjoys reading posts or asking people for advise that sort of thing. Sorry if you took it as baiting, not my intention. Just by your first post I though maybe you had a personal connection to the fella. New canadain or not it was just a funny thread that grizz attached "being that it was closed". Yea so sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Actually, it helps. Really easy here to misinterprete someone's meaning or intent when all you have is letters and we can't see you grinning as you type.

It wasn't that comment that got me going it was this one:

"What kind of question is that, would you like me to read it for you."

That was in reply to me asking what the thread was about.

Regardless, like I said...."nuff said and fair enough.

Actually, I came to that conclusion, from the comments the moderator made about the deleted video. I usually throw that Smilie in, cause I'm trying to keep the conversation on a lighter note.
