Champion generator 1500 watt anyone used one

I just bought a champion 1500 watt generator at Canadian Tire , feller was telling me it's supposed to be a good product anyone have any input on this .

depends on what you are using it for. if you are just going to use it occasionally while camping to charge your batteries, etc, then it will probably do you pretty good.

if you plan on running it on a jobsite to power tools or run it for 8 hrs to power up your motorhome, then not so good. they are not really meant for that and won't last very long doing it either. about the only ones that will are Honda and Yamaha units, but you pay for it.

really comes down to what you are going to use it for and what your expectations are with it.
