Its all fun and games to these people until little fufu gets eaten at the dog park one evening... then they want them all gone. I like the comment that talks about their populations self regulating with food supply...

They are sure making a big deal out of something that only killed 13 coyotes last year.
I wonder how much in donations they are receiving.

Only 13 province wide? Shoot we hold a small one among friends in February and kill about 15-20. Wish someone one would start it for wolves over the course of the winter with a big prize.

20? No wonder coyotes are on the verge of extinction.
For the love of god and green peace stop the slaughter.

That one up in Mayorthorp would bring in over 100 dogs in a day, which is also a below average season for a lot of trappers up here. A guy once told me that the only two living things that would survive a nuclear holocaust would be coyotes and cockroaches.

Brilliant answer

There's a fine line between granola crunchers and land rapers.

The problem is extremism.

Moderation and understanding is key.

Not brothers. They are both members here and had they had one heck of day in tough conditions.

Here's a short video from 2013 of what he does

I've just made it my goal to kill more coyotes this winter than they take in the tournament. Thanks for the marketing and idea, coyote watch from Ontario

I remember when they posted one of those vids a few months ago. Very nice camera work. Congrats to them on winning this little tourney.

I shot 5 grouse this year, so keep the balance in nature I should shoot 5 yotes.
It's getting harder every year to want to kill them, kinda nice to see every now and then. Plus a lot of the lands im familiar with have changed hands, subdivided, habitat loss and or public opinion to a certain amount.
