Default Rocky Shoot Today May 18

Good Luck to all today in the Rocky BR shoot. Was loaded for light and heavy gun then tore up ligaments in arm. Pizz me off.
They have 3 BR shoots a year, real good people, nice range and well organized.

That sucks for you, sorry for your ligament issue!
We had to cancel our 300 and 500 meter Fclass match this weekend because of the fires, but we're able to reschedule for June1st

As the great Paul Reibin once noted
" You don't need a crowbar to seperate the girls from the boys when the wind starts blowing"!

What an awesome shoot, the organizers deserve a big thank you.
It was great to see old friends, and meet some new acquaintances.

Well done BWR and Hot Paws.

I have to agree, it was a great event. A few hiccups, but that’s to be expected at any event. The funniest thing was having the wrong targets at some distances that needed to be corrected. But just short delays.

The weather gods didn’t cooperate. The winds were really bad on Friday, but a bit better for the shoot.

Great people! Wonderful range. It was my first visit to Rocky, and I must say it’s the cleanest range I’ve ever been to. A wonderful facility with some great expansion plans/ideas. I hope they are successful.

I plan to try another event and the range again sometime. But I am more than a couple of hour’s drive away.

Ran 28 shooters through 5 distances ranging from 100m to 600m. Paper Benchrest targets at 100&300m. Steel gopher silhouette at 400m. Groundhog silhouettes at 500&600m. Wind from every direction imaginable including rain downpour and bright sun creating some very diverse situations.
Great time.

I was at the range this morning and passed on to Dom the maintenance fellow your comment about it being the cleanest range. He appreciated the comment as he works hard at keeping it clean and in great shape.

It was fun to visit and BS session with Don and the rest of you folks at the after party/Bar-B-Que. I give credit where credit is due.

No, I was shooting a 6.5x47L.

The funny looking old skinny guy with the bigger white beard. Here’s a shot of me that’s pretty close to what I look like now…

6MT and markg, it was too bad you didn’t make your selves better known…..

It was nice to meet you guys even though we didn’t know the AO connection.

I was your RSO for most of the shoot.

Well...I make it a habit of not identifying myself as a forum lurker. Just in case I've pi$$ed anyone off.

There is some wisdom that comes with that white beard!! Now that all the above comments are in the books I can now identify who you lads are. Was really great to meet such nice members of the forum and the shooting community! Thanks for RSOing you did a great job!
