Default Bear Colours

Where would one find a higher concentration of cinnamon and brown coloured black bears?
I have only seen 1 cinnamon/blonde in WMU 349 and one brown in WMU 521. The majority I ever see are black.

Have been a bear Guide 40 plus years...if you want to see more color phases in Alberta find huge poplar trees stands...you will see more color phases in poplar bush than spruce or evergreen bush... true!!!

I am only baiting since 2007 in AB. One stand is in large poplars and have NEVER seen a color phase there. But LOST definitely knows bears.
I am not into color phase so I am staying where I am.
Good luck.

Default Colored bears

NE of Edmonton I see some south of Boyle between Long lake park and Amisk lake and a bit to the east, like north of Figure lake.
