Default Plumber Needed - Small Job

So i'm finally getting around to renovating my other bathroom. Took too long and a simple tile job has blossomed into brand new tub. My wife picked a new soaker tub. Taller and 2" wider than the current one. Means I need the mixer valve relocated, up and over (maybe, depends on the framing). I have zero experience or tools for copper.
Any recommendations for a small project like this?

Hello,

I am not a plumber and won't be able to help, but just wanted to point out that it would be helpful if people knew where you're located so they can make proper recommendations.

There are also solderless connections to go from copper to pex.

hire a plumber on a recommendation from this forum

one thing I have sadly learned over the years is if it can leak it will

at least here it will be easy to find and then fix a second time

had a leak in a 2 story upstairs under a sink and it exited 22 feet away in the dining room, guy was brilliant to find it with 3 holes in downstairs ceiling

took him an hour of looking at the roof and thinking but he was spot on

300 bucks and it was fixed except the drywall

so just be careful with this one

Just so you know, you can put your location in your profile on this forum as well.

I know a really great plumber who can do a smaller job like this. Done work for me a few times and is really good - reasonable prices - top notch quality work. I will PM details to you.
