Default Hunting Geese?

Anyone ever hunt geese with the bow? I'm talking about shooting them on the ground and not on the wing.

Have done it both ways...Used Broadheads and Flu Flu's for on the wing...first one aimed at lead Goose...hit last one...lol

And of course temptation on the ground is overwhelming while bow hunting, When I lived near Red Deer and bowhunted, I always bought a migratory bird licence just to treat that...

The last time I went there was several of us in a blind...Flu Flus and Turkey broadheads ...what a blast...even got a couple..

Similar experience as Neil. Done flu flus with recurve and compound from a blind. So far I have a Teal, Mallard and Canada - all flying. Haven't tried shooting them on the ground yet but certainly not opposed to doing that with a bow.

I have a teal with my bow but it was spot and stalk...I have a hard enough time killing ducks off the wing with a scatter gun. I couldn't imagine how big the lead is with a bow.

I have had a lot of fun shooting at them on the wing but no connections yet. Maybe this fall I will finally get lucky.
