Lots of prizes to be won before the shoot off of F.B.There are prize packages to give away after the shoot as well. People are already registering. We will cap it this year at 100 archers. I have only been shooting bow for a year or so now, but never shot 3D or anything like that.....this sounds like a lot of fun just to take it in and hang out, but what is the calibre of the "contestants"? I guess what I'm asking is would "joe blow archer" (aka me) fit into something like this when I haven't done such stuff or know the rules, etc.? Thanks all.

Pretty laid back and informal shoot. Most of the real serious shooters tend to shoot in the same groups, the rest is specifically for "joe blow archer".

It is great practice for hunting or just pure fun if you are not a bowhunter. The hosts of the Oilman's Shoot are some of the nicest folks you will meet.

If you don't know anyone or are concerned about how to shoot 3-D, pm me closer to the date and you are more than welcome to shoot with me.
