Default Tinger Argo clone.

Another Russian made ATV.

Only reason I am interested as it seems to be 50% cheaper than an Argo.

Closest dealer is Greenland however.

No N.A dealers yet.

So if I buy one of these things, do they throw in the Russian Mail Order Bride?

And if they do, how do I break the news to my Wife?

And worse, if the Bride and the Wife get along, will they take off with the Tinger and leave me to hunt by myself?

So many questions...

But the track machine actually has the one thing a Mud Ox, an Argo, the old Paspartot, and the Bobcat was missing. A SUSPENSION!!

SO yes, there can be a market for this machine, but its carrying capacity is a bit limited with the rear engine design of the track version.

Still, if its cheap enough, and the engine and tranny and axles are strong enough, it could catch on.

I’ve been watching them for a few years now. Cool machines.

Not sure how you are factoring in price delivered to NA though. The tires on my buggy were cheap when looking at them in Russia and comparing the Ruble to Canadian dollars. But once import fees, shipping, etc were factored in it cost me $10,000 for 4 tires and 4 double beadlock wheels.

I got a response from Tinger

They are looking at this Winter for a CAD Dealer.

I am very interested if they can come in less than 25k for an 8 wheeled version.

In a few years will you be able to get parts? Can you swap out parts or mod to use parts from other brands? Will anyone take it off your hands in the future? (Some brands of equipment have such a large base of willing buyers that the actual cost of ownership if one sells, isn't all that bad.)

If they are trying to break into the market they may be offering it at great prices. In a couple years if they’ll boosted the prices, the cost of ownership might not be much at all. Maybe you’ll even make money when you sell. That said, the parts cost will likely be high too.

While browsing their site, I see that one can apply to become a dealer. This is a potential opportunity for an AO'er with the time, energy and resources!

Looks good in the video. I like their track designed ones. Be good to have some competition for the Argo.
