Love the dog shots!!! My French Britt's and self can't seem to agree on who should retrieve the water ducks!!! Land they feel we should have equal rights, and all should find our share, water not so much, that's my area.

Therefore we have left the water holes to u Lab guy's!!!

Upland birds different story, all bird's r there's to bring back!!!

They must have sensitive fur or something. Maybe spoiled???

[QUOTE=ALBTUFF;2930549]Heres a few

Wow, 4 coloured sprigs,,,, here in parkland Alberta,, getting any pintail drakes with colour is something special,,, let alone 4 on the same shoot! Any tails on those birds?

I shot my first duck in 1962, and have only ever killed two really mature spiked pintail drakes in all those years, ,, the last being in 1989!!! I ate the first one and gave away the second one not realizing how rare mature coloured sprigs are in our part of Alberta in the fall.

Gotta love late season green heads too,,, great photo op with the contrasting colour against against the snowy background!

That year was great for pintails. That one shoot was hard cause every flock coming in was pintails and you are only allowed 4. None of those birds had the "pin" on their tails but the weekend before........

And just cause I love this mount..........

Thanks for looking.

It was banded 07/29/2011. I shot it on 10/05/2011. It was too young to fly when banded. It was a short migration for her. It was banded in Alaska.

This field was packed with snows. In this photo you can only see half of the birds. Too bad we saw it the day we were leaving.

Beautiful pics guys. Always like the ones with the kids in them.

I used to love hunting waterfowl in the snow or whenever we found a hole in the ice.

MK2750........very nice shots
