Default Auto parts in Edmonton.

I need a front right lower control arm for a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe.
I checked Rock Auto and can get it for $92CAD including shipping.
The problem is I can't wait 2-4 weeks for delivery.
I've checked Canadian tire and NAPA. Neither have it in stock (which is odd because there are a gazillion of these cars on the road).

Anyone know of any other places for auto parts locally?
Tried NAPA, Part source and CT. Can't find anywhere else.
I miss the days of the yellow pages...

I've considered going to Pick and pull but with this rain we've been
having, that place will be a swamp. Don't really feel like rolling under
a car in this weather.
Besides, It's not a part I wanna have to change in six months again.

If anyone has a suggestion or recommendation, it would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

Check out www.car-part.com and sort the results by distance. It will show which autowrecker has it in your area. Some have it on the shelve others will pull it in couple hours after they a get deposit

- i get it though, sometimes you can't wait - good luck

- you could try SGI salvage - I don't know what there shipping times are though

Thanks.

Usually I can wait and use RA. The CV axles I bought there a few weeks ago only took about a week to get here.

I ordered some struts from there about 2 months ago and they took about 2 weeks.

I wish I had the time to wait because Rock Auto always saves me about 50% over purchasing locally.

I did not. Thanks. Having a hard time remembering all the parts places in Edmonton.
I even checked a place in Red deer to no avail.

Thanks. Already have theirs and a bunch of other wreckers numbers written down to call tomorrow.

I've had a lot of good luck with Black Gold in the past finding things I couldn't get elsewhere.

I restored a Triumph TR7 about 20 years ago and got almost everything I needed from them, including a nearly new convertible top and interior.

Geez.. what a waste of time and money that car was...

I called every (new) parts shops in Edmonton and only Part Source had it in stock. The others could order it and have it in a few days but Part source had it on sale for $120.

Thanks for every ones help and recommendations.

I'm keeping a list of parts place numbers in the garage now.

Thanks again, very much appreciated.

Phone the dealer. I have often found their parts prices pretty competitive, not always, but at least worth a call if you are in a rush.

The dealer was the first place I called. I like to stick with OEM parts when I can but I would have had to wait a week and pay $290 compared to the $120 I ended up paying.
Like you said though, a lot their prices are competitive with parts shops.
Thanks.
