I have owned two, a 3" chamber and a 3-1/2" chamber. The 3-1/2" chamber gun isn't 100% reliable with the cheap Winchester target loads, but it is totally reliable with all other loads. The 3" chamber is reliable with every load that I have tried in it.

I mine with a 3.5" chamber for going on 8 years or so. Probably seen near 1300 rounds of 3.5" and 3000 rounds of 2.75" target loads. Cycles anything I feed it and no parts have broke on it for me. Fits really well and handles very nice, I have an older model with the duratouch finish and I really like that feature. The other 3 in my hunting group have also been without fault for going on 5 years. Highly recommend. Just make sure you clean it after you buy it to remove the packing grease.

I have a 12ga and a 20ga. The 20ga probably has about 5000 round through it, and the 12ga about 1000. Both have been very reliable and can run when very dirty. They are made by FN in Belgium despite being a Winchester.

Just make sure you get the updated bolt carrier. If the bolt carrier is one piece you are good to go. Don't buy the shotgun if it is two pieces pinned together. Browning (owns winchester) updated it shortly after releasing the sx3 because the pin will snap and jam the bolt.

Have been shooting 3.5 12-gauge for a while. No complaints. Not sure how many rounds went through it, but definitely enough to firmly say that the gun is reliable. Jammed two or three times, but it was my fault for keeping it dirty. Actually looking to buy another one in 20-gauge.
