Default Boat capsizes in ghost lake

Friday night around 9:45 this big speed boat with 10 aboard including a 1 yr old claims to have hit a rock and capsized. I saw it still floating with the bow sticking straight up out of the water yesterday at the far end of Ghost by the village. there are no rocks hidden anywhere near there so I am thinking it must have been going at a fast pace and ran into the sand bars that are by the island on the far west end.

I took several pic's but do not know how to post, sorry, the boat over the course of a few hrs was drifting further out and when I last got up close and personal it was bobbing in 50FOW I called report a poacher and they told me they were already aware and the recovery most likely will be on Monday (today) Cannot imagine what the fines for this are gonna be never mind the boat it looked to me to be a large Mustang or similar speed boat.

Default Ghost Lake

For those that are not familiar with the Ghost Lake there is a Rock reef west of the village and it runs east and west. On the north side of it is about 4 feet of water and the south it drops of to over 50 feet. It is about 150 yards from the shore line and this time of year is covered with about 2 feet of water. One needs to study and lake that they want to boat on

10 people in the boat. I am also willing to bet the boat was way overloaded and there weren't life jackets for all.

I would agree that one needs to be familiar with the lake but it should be marked where the dangers are
