Default Nard sock for my GWP

I thought I’d spice it up a bit
This is a genuine question of concern.
My GWP is not fixed and generally stays really warm with his long hair in the winter however his boys dangle like a shiney set of red apples in the cold.
The vet said he could easily get frost bite on them if he is outside to long and recommended a diaper or something to keep the ice cubes off.

So this got me thinking, maybe the wife could make him some kind of ball sack sock that I could tie on so he stays warm and still looks manly.

Has anyone tried this or done something similar?

Hmmm.I had a brit that I swear has the biggest dangely bits I have ever seen on a brit ,never got frostbite on them but always worried that he was going to sit on something wet or metal
edit to add you have not lived till you see what hunting in roses bushes can do to said bits.......

Could be a good business opportunity - Nard Sox R' Us.

Could possibly branch out into cattle, pigs, etc.

I bet he looks at you like my GSP's did to me when the wife put bunny ears, Santa hat or Reindeer horns on my dogs depending on the holiday

Lol! That will fit just dandy

The vet said he has seen some nasty cases of frost bite on the boys and why he recommended it. My vet is awesome! He also said if you have no temperament issues with your GWP I would not bother fixing him as he’s a rarety reguarding being inbred some how along with his disposition and character. Moms from Germany and dads from the states. Great all around dog, won’t be fixing him anytime soon 😁

I have seen a few GSPs with hanging dangling pink grapefruits and I know a few owners that have had them neutered to prevent injury. I know of one owner who put sun screen on her boy to prevent burn in summer. I have heard that some breeders select stud dogs that are not as showy and prefer the boys covered with hair and well formed but with less hang. Along with dew claws, hanging parts are prone to injury. I would not use one with danglers as a stud.
