Default Poppy season

Poppy season is upon us.
I picked up a couple rolls of loonies from the bank. I always make sure that I have a few with me to put in the poppy boxes.

It would be easier to write them a cheque or to toss a couple of bills in the box and be done with it, but I have always thought that generosity was infectious.
Hopefully, when people see someone making a donation, that will encourage them to do the same.

So, donate any way you see fit and support our veterans.

So do you buy a lot of poppies and give them to others to wear? That's a neat idea.

I prefer to write them a cheque. If there is a veteran standing there selling poppies, I will buy one ('cause I'm always losing mine), but those boxes in the stores get stolen too often.

My GF and I always carry a pocket full of toonies. Even though we are both wearing a poppy we still drop a few in the box. Don't bother taking a poppy cause we already have them.

I walked by the poppy box a few times already and never had any change.
I'm filling a pocket right now, Tnks for the reminder.
