Default Laker?

Caught this one last night ... Great fight spooled me a couple of times 24" of fun .... Didn't think lakers were in the bow? I am assuming it is a laker??? Need to stop fishing in the dark ...( sorry bout the bad pic but it had already been in a good fight and I wanted to get him back home ASAP )

Between 3-4 lbs it was a fat one... Lean and mean!! I've caught lake trout in lakes and what a boring fish when you haul it up from 60ft... But this one was great... And knew how to use the current!!

Length of 24"girth of 14 "will by the fancy doomahicky calculator. Give a hair under 6. My beaver best is right in a that ball park . 23.5×13.5". the laker being a coold water predator imo should be at an advantage thru winter keeping them fat and happy.

Let me edit that.... it WASN'T a fat one... it was lean and mean..... probably hungry, I know I was, serves me right for using my break time to go fishing instead of eating...!!
