Default 7mm-08 @ 400 yrds

So the plan today was that I would shoot "the gong" (Homemade of course )
at 400, 500 and 600 trds with the 7mm-08.

Aside from the fact that I wanted to record it, and obviously my camera is not good enough for a decent vid, my gong was the s**ts too!

So I only got 400 yrds.

But tomorrow I will have another Gong made, this time it will actually 'GONG' !!!

Shooting 140 gr TTSX for first 5 rounds, and 140 gr TSX for the last 5 rounds.
Bullets are sitting on Varget and CCI large Rifle primers.

Conditions,...light breeze left to right..

I'm not a great target shooter as you will see from my group, but I will shoot to 500 yrds on an animal and feel my groups are good enough for that.

At 600 yrds, the groups aren't too bad, but I won't let fly at an animal at that range...not enough confidence and I need to switch up bullets, so just paper at 600.

Anyhow, here's the crappy vid..

Just watched the first bit of the video. You made my Newfoundlander wife homesick. She said it did her heart some good to here your accent I only got about two minutes in before shutting her down as the kids were watching, and my wife figured the majority of her people may drop a few words we wouldn't want the kids repeating. I'm gonna watch the rest in about half an hour to see if she's right.
