I really liked mine in 300 wby mag. Didn't really like the long action compared to my new accumark with the short action. But all in all, you get a decent gun for the cost.

My son has one in 7-08. It is a shooter and a nice gun.

Got one in a 30.06. Shot 1 inch outta the box and I just haven't shot it enough to tighten the groups up. They aren't that bad, my only regret is the synthetic stock. I don't care for mine. Id prefer the vangaurd with wood stock. Everyone gives them crap cause the actions are made in Japan, Well So are Browning and who knows whatelse. They are decent for the money in my opinion!

Default Vangaurds

We have 2 of them -the Mrs a Deluxe in 30-06 (sharp looking rifle), and I a SubMOA in .257WM. Both good shooters. I find my trigger a little rough, but I am usually shooting a Kimber at the range at the same time, and it has a glass like trigger. I have thought about buying another one lots.

Got two...257 wby...a laser, 300 wby...a bigger laser.

Good value for the money.

I have two myself and I love them both. I have a .22-250 Sub MOA and a .270 with a walnut stock. For the money I wouldn't buy the Sub MOA model again, the .270 shoots ALMOST as good and cost about 1/2 of what I paid for the Sub MOA.

I definitely recommend them.

Yup....It seems that most of them are sub MOA anyway so there's no point in paying more.

My 22-250 will clover-leaf the 45 grain winchester white box ammo at 100 yds. Easily sub-moa without the upgraded stock and upgraded price. Good guns in my opinion.
