In my quest to buy a new car battery, my first choice was a Costco; Kirkland made by Johnson Controls.

In my reading I found that Costco Kirkland's are no longer made by Johnson Control. This is a game changer for me.

I will try to find the update and post it.

Bought 3 batteries in the last year from Costco. All have interstate labels on them. Last truck battery I had was a Kirkland with 100 month warranty. When it went I took it back and got about 75% of the cost back to put towards a new battery for my truck. Hard to argue with that!

Costco St.Albert has 6 Volt Golf Cart batteries in stock as of today (Feb 25th) I will be picking up a pair for my cargo trailer conversion.

Anyone else on the forum covert a cargo trailer? I'm in the early stage of converting a 21 ft V nose enclosed skidoo trailer into a "poor mans toy hauler".

Costco Calgary, East Hills Blvd has 4 left as of today.

I thought after 10 years with the same two 12v Interstate batteries, I would give two 6v a try. Figured it was time for upgrade. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. My other ones still have life, so I will put them to use for something else.

Would the inverter/charger in modern trailers be compatible with two batteries or would I have to upgrade to a dual-bank charger?

yes they are 12 volt charge capable. 2 6v in series makes 12 volt with more capacity and are true deep cycle.
