Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Goodfish is almost completely surrounded by reserve land and you might need permission to access? IDK maybe its one of the other small lakes in the area but its best to be careful.

Whitefish lake has some lunkers in it, way out in the middle it's got some shallow humps and if you can find them the action can be good for multiple species including Pike, Whitefish, and Walleye.

Goodfish is surrounded by the res but I have fished that lake in the summer and winter and never had any issues. Use to be a very good lake before they closed it down for walleye limit. Very shallow at the main boat lunch on the south side which kept the big boats off the lake. The west side drops off real quick 5 feet 15feet in places. There is a sign off of highway 28 that takes you right to the south boat lunch.

There was always private land on the west side of the lake.

I notice the lake is closed to fish now though

And, spreading incorrect information on closures.
