Default How to truck access half moon lake?

Out with the kids for the first time but can't find access point. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Which half moon lake? By Sherwood Park or up by Opal. If the one about an hour north you can access through the park off of Township Rd 590

According to the Atlas of Alberta Lakes, oxygen levels plummet every winter and only brook stickleback can survive. There have been numerous attempts over the decades to stock it with perch, pike, and rainbow trout, including aerating the lake, but no fish made it through their first winter.
