I just voted

>95% were YES votes - 10,000 plus votes

384 votes for NO ...... some smaller amount as "undecided"

As hopeful as the poll might be for the proponents of CC - it's unlikely to effect any real legislative changes

Default What are the current regulations?

How does one get permission to carry in Canada, as the laws are now? What is the vetting process? Where are tazers in the regulations?

Your prayers better give your the ability to win the confrontation against whatever form of attack they use. What happens if they "non-lethally" overpower you, and now it is the attackers choice of what they are to do with you? Do you trust this person who just attacked you and violated your security, peace, and freedom, to make decisions in your best interests? Don't expect humane respectful treatment from an attacker who by being an attacker has already crossed the line of showing they dont have humane respect in their character. No matter what form of weapon, or attack it starts out as, if you are a victim of a random act of violence, you better fight as if your life depends on it.

What happens if the non-lethally armed attacker kicks your door in, overpowers you, ties you up, and leaves you laying in your basement?

What happens if the non-lethally armed attacker overpowers you and you figure he will just steal your property so you submit. do you have any idea that the person who is willing to commit this crime wont then escalate once they have the upper hand and decide to then torture or kill you just for the fun of it?

What happens if you are non-lethally robbed in the wilderness of your equipment and vehicle in subzero weather, and too remote to statistically survive?
